Description:
The purpose of this workshop is to educate Collaborative Coordinators and their partners about why expanding leadership to people most impacted by the issues (including parents, caregivers and community members) will lead to more meaningful and sustainable change. This workshop will provide an overview about why it matters, ideas about how Collaboratives can expand leadership, considerations that will enhance engagement and create more inclusive and accessible decision-making tables, and time for reflection and a focus on next steps.
