Each year, more than 50 student interns volunteer in our programs while pursuing their degrees or licensure credit. As a FamilyWise intern, you will work directly with diverse families experiencing complex challenges while our experienced staff offers you extensive supervision, training, and feedback.
Our internship program is well-established and highly flexible, and we will work with you to tailor your internship to your availability, interests, skills, and education level. We offer year-round internships that meet most colleges and universities’ requirements for direct family contact. Interns may work in these FamilyWise programs: Supervised Parenting and Safe Exchanges, In-home Parenting (Clinical), Young Parenting Services, Early Childhood Education, and Parent Assessment Services (Clinical).
We also welcome interns in other areas, from marketing to fundraising to other “central office” activities. Get in touch to see what might be the right fit!
