Virtual Spring 2026 ACE Interface Presenter Training

Virtual Spring 2026 ACE Interface Presenter Training

We are excited to announce that we will be offering the next ACE Interface Presenter Training in Spring 2026, which is Phase 2 of More Resilient Minnesota.

This opportunity is available to Children’s Mental Health and Family Services Collaboratives participating in More Resilient Minnesota and their partners.

The deadline for submitting an application to your local Collaborative is Wednesday, March 11th, 2026.

*Note that the 30 spaces for this training will be filled on a rolling basis

The training will be held on the following three dates/times*:

–  Training Day 1: Wednesday, April 22nd from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (virtual on Zoom)

–  Training Day 2: Thursday, April 23rd from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (virtual on Zoom)

–  Training Day 3: Wednesday, May 20th from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (virtual on Zoom)

Given the time commitment involved with becoming a Certified ACE Interface Presenter (a time commitment of approximately 40 – 60 hours over a 9-month period), prospective presenters are strongly encouraged to attend an Understanding ACEs: Building Self-Healing Communities Presentation prior to attending the Presenter Training so they are familiar with the content that they are signing up to present.

Thursday, 2/19/2026 from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.

Addressing intergenerational and historical trauma, promoting healing and protective factors, and reducing adversity in future generations will require the involvement of many creative, collaborative, and passionate people.

The goal of the Understanding ACEs: Building Self-Healing Communities Presentation is to offer a common language and understanding of core concepts from the fields of neurobiology, epigenetics, epidemiology (ACEs), and resilience research. You will also have time to discuss your ideas on how this information can be applied to your sphere of influence in your work, family life, and community.

This presentation will be shared in three sections:

  1. Neurobiology & Epigenetics focuses on how our brains adapt to our environment during childhood and some basic concepts related to how toxic stress can impact healthy development
  2. Key Findings from the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) Study highlights some of the data from the original ACE Study
  3. Resilience provides a framework for thinking about resilience, and focuses primarily on attachment and belonging, supporting individual capabilities, culture, community, and spirituality as key protective systems
