About Youth Services at FamilyWise
FamilyWise has two programs designed for youth who are between the ages of elementary school and early college: Wraparound and Bright Beginnings. Wraparound (ages 6-21) is a nationally-recognized model aimed at helping youth with significant behavioral, emotional and mental health issues build a natural network of supports and avoid being removed from a home-based setting. Bright Beginnings offers pregnant and parenting youth/young adults (ages 12-21) the opportunity to increase parenting skills, social skills, independent living skills and pregnancy prevention as well as awareness of physical, chemical and mental health. Although education is provided primarily in a group setting, youth have the opportunity to be matched with a mentor for up to a year. Read More
